March 12th fell on the same day as Parent Teacher Conferences or SEPs which stands for something like Student Education Plan (I am probably making that up.)
I HATE all the abbreviations (or initialisms apparently) that we use as teachers...SEP, ILP, IEP, PLC...there are SO many and they are so confusing.
My head is too full.

I actually went to Insta Care and they drew blood TWICE.
Arg.
I hate having my blood drawn.

It is actually pretty nice because I don't have to actually think to be able to pop one open and stick a straw in.

I was not a big reader when a lot of books were age appropriate so I am reading them now.

On a completely different note...you know the new Geico commercials with the money you could be saving (a pile of money with eyeballs.) The song that plays is one of my absolute favorite songs ever. It is "Somebody's Watching Me" originally sung by Rockwell. The commercial features a group apparently called Mysto and Pizzi. I hate that they don't use the original song. I remember buying a Motown's Greatest Hits cd for like, $20!!! because I wanted the song so much. It was a two disk cd with lots of fabulous songs but still, thank goodness for itunes.
Here is the video for the original. It is wonderfully terrible just like so many other of my favorite things from the 80s.

Kate I didn't find you day boring at all. Quite interesting actually and of course your sense of humor shines through. Very funny. :)
Your face looks so thin- your not loosing to much weight are you! Stress does that to your right! and many koodoes to you for pumping at 4:30 am - Your one dedicated mom, I would have quite breast feeding if I had to do that!
So... I had some funny comment I was going to write, but Jane distracted me (she cracked her head on the trash can), and now I can't remember at all what I was going to say. Too bad for you.
You poor thing you seem exhausted. Is Abby still getting you up at night? Way to go on the pumping. That is a lot of work!
In West Philadelphia Born And Raised, On The Playground Is Where I Spent Most Of My Days.....If I am ever at your house at 4 am, I will get up with you and rap. I do not ever remember seeing that video posted! How could I have missed it.
Kate, your day looks so tiring. And to have been sick! I do not know how you are doing it. However that picture of you is fabulous. I don't know how you look that good with so little sleep. Now that I am old my looks are greatly influenced by how much sleep I have gotten the night before. I really hope you feel better soon.
