Geez, I haven't posted for a while. I totally thought I would have more time on my hands during the summer. Ha ha. What was I thinking? I'll update soon with what we've been up to but for now, here's what we did today.
My mom and I walk in the morning everyday. Today we got off to a really late start so we decided to walk a different route and check out some houses we love in our neighborhood. We have a really nice, new park in our neighborhood which means the old park on the same block is always deserted. Abby had never been on a playground swing before so since we were in no hurry this morning, we decided to let her try it out.

A canal broke yesterday in Logan. Three people that were in a house that was destroyed are presumed dead. We drove to the area this morning to see how the clean-up was going. You can't tell from this picture but there is a huge mound of dirt in the middle of the road. This picture is looking south on Canyon Road at Crockett Avenue.

When we went to the doctor a month ago, she asked what Fluke ate. I told her Mt. Dew. He still drinks unhealthy amounts of it daily. :(

Aww...

We went up to the ranger station above Cache Valley to see if we could get another view of the canal. Fluke went to take a look. Abby gave me that look that says, "No really, I didn't poop." I however, knew she was not being honest and so we changed her into a clean diaper and her day-wear in the back of the car.

Checking out the view with Dad.

The "Island"

Abby adores her grandpa.

She is also really into cats. The cat toy she is holding is a favorite.

This is our brand new, one-week-old niece Ellie. She is grand-baby number 16!!!

Abby loves playing with her dad. She is such a happy, giggly baby.

Jane was looking at the computer with me while I read your post and everytime there was a picture of Abby, she said "Baby! Baby!" and pointed. It was cute.
And I want you to know that I counted your pictures to make sure you really had 12. You did. Good job. :)
You should share your summer secret with me...I am still sitting at home bored all the time.
My favorite picture is of you guys holding hands- we need more of that around here- but I think I have given up on that!
What a cute holding hands picture. I will have to read the canal story. It sounds terrible. Abby is as cute as ever.
