I've read most of the book but never finished it because I became so frustrated by his stubbornness and poor decision making. (I LOVED "Into Thin Air"-same author)
The movie made me care about him and want to know him and feel a lot of dread of what I knew was coming.
When it finally ended (it's 2.5 hours long) I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about the movie. Good for the movie makers, bad for me.
My alarm went off after less than four hours of sleep. Arg.
We also tried to do a movie night last night. We watched "Despicable Me" which a bunch of people said Abby would love. I thought it was way too violent (yes, I really just said that-roll your eyes) for a two year old. Luckily she had no interest in watching it and was way more into pulling all her toys out and making piles.
Here she is making one of her trips back into the laundry basket. Not sure why we ever bought her chairs.

I'm off to go wake this kid up. Yesterday was a nice day off but I'm super excited to get her back on a schedule. Yesterday she acted like someone had pressed fast forward and the button had gotten stuck.
Also- I did enjoy The Hunger Games. I have taken a book-reading break and have been reading a lot of magazines for some stupid reason. Any suggestions for something good to read? I think I need something light.
