I went upstairs to walk on the treadmill. Exercise! When I got there I remembered I hadn't hung the curtains after taking them down to wash them the other day. So I picked them up off the treadmill (They had only been there for two days. I promise!) and walked over to the glass doors.
When I got there I noticed the big plant on the porch had fallen over. I went out, picked it up and went to the garage to get a broom to sweep up the dirt.
I touched the broom, realized it was wet, looked up and oh crap water was leaking out of the pump for the air conditioning! Ack! Grabbed a huge plastic container. Moved everything out from under the pump. Turned off the Air Conditioning. Called AC repair guy and scheduled repair.
Then I went out to the garage to start mopping up the mess. After the mess was cleaned up I got a fan blowing on the floor to dry it out. I wanted to get a second fan blowing on the floor but I needed and extension cord. So...I found one that was hanging down the wall and followed it up to the...AIR CONDITIONING PUMP. SHUT UP! Plugged it back in and it stopped dripping! HOORAY! I saved the day!
Now I'm off to walk on the treadmill. After I hang the curtains. And sweep up the dirt.

I LOVE this! We had one of those mouse/cookie, moose/muffin days yesterday -- even called it that! Your's makes me smile! It helps to give a day like that a name and laugh about it. Way to go for finding solutions! Hope you're loving the summer days!
