Week in the Life Monday

I'm taking part in A Week in the Life.

Monday July 25, 2011
Woke up at 7:49. Actually got out of bed at 8:29

Abby swimming in toddler night-time must-haves.

Yay! She wanted to snuggle (while making kissy faces?) Snuggles lasted less than a minute. :(

Decorated the patch. Abby is developing a "lazy" eye.

Thumb time with the patch.

Joke of the day.

Berries from the backyard.

Frightening winged/stinging insects made that nasty hole between the concrete and wood. We were a little nervous about going outside because they were getting aggressive.

Deciding on a Lego project.

Mom got lazy and suggested a snake.
Abby: "Slither, slither, slither, here comes my snake."
Abby told me that her snake "braked" when it broke.

Abby not yawning, talking.
She is telling me she wants to make a really, really big tower.

Bed jumping.

We both HATE putting sunscreen on Abby's face and are not usually smiling.

Krash is getting old and can usually be found just hanging around waiting for Fluke.

Here you can see a bit of the lazy eye happening.

At the Pioneer Day parade in Logan.

When I asked Abby what her favorite part of a parade is she told me, "Candy!"
When I asked what the second best part is she told me,
"The cars and trucks...throwing candy at us!"

Waiting for the parade with Dada.

Probably our Christmas card. Happy Holidays!

Abby and Grandpa

Grandpa lookin' tough

So this guy...his job was to stop EVERY vehicle in the parade to tell them they couldn't throw candy from the vehicle. What a Debbie Downer. Also some poor guy is cleaning up horse poop that happened at the end of the parade. I think we were all ready to go at that point.

Wendy's for lunch. More of Abby talking. She has a lot to say.

Abby telling us she is not tired. Uh-huh.

I was tired and I took a nap. Thanks Abby for falling asleep so Mama could too!

Sticker paper dolls. So wonderful. I take these to church for her to play with usually but Abby knows where to find them now and has been playing with them at home.

Never-ending laundry.

Mr. Fix Everything

Back to Logan for dinner at Fluke's parent's house.

S'mores!

Action shot!

Levitating toddler!

Rainbow!

And finally, fireworks.

It was a long day and there were a lot of pictures. Thanks for taking a peek into our lives this week.
